In the January 2015 Nintendo Direct, it was announced that ''Pandora's Tower'' and other Wii games will be released for download through the Wii U's Nintendo eShop. It was released in Japan on March 4, 2015, Europe on April 16, 2015, Australia and New Zealand on April 17, 2015, and North America on August 13, 2015.
